statement:​

My films are rooted in vulnerability. I believe it is just as important for the filmmaker to make themselves as vulnerable as the subjects who they are documenting. Inspired by sociologists Erving Goffman and Émile Durkheim, my films focus on making private conversations public. It is through this antonymous tension that I take a critical introspective view of the identities we have made in the past, how we come to understand the identities we currently display, and how we make sense of and cohere the identities we will construct in the future.
